PEI wins order for 30,000m3/d SWRO in Thailand Posted 01/06/06
Robert Oklejas, president of Pump Engineering, Inc. announced an order from Sahakarn Wisavakorn Co. Ltd. a subcontractor to Hydrotek (a Thai OEM) for five AT 2400 Hydraulic Turbocharger for a 30,000m3/d SWRO plant in Thailand. The AT Turbo plant is projected to have a high pressure circuit Specific Energy Consumption of 2.25 kWhr/m3 and once again shows that turbocharger based SWRO system can more than hold their own against isobaric devices, but at a much lower cost, with simple controls, and with smooth quite pulsation free operation.
