New VP of Marketing and Sales Posted 11/03/08
Robert Oklejas, chairman and president of Pump Engineering announced today that H. Larry Pelegrin has been appointed by the board of directors to the position of Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
Pelegrin has had a distinguished career in the desalination industry over the last 27 years. Past positions included Manager Desalination Industry – Permasep Products for E.I. Du Pont de Nemours and Company, Vice president of Sales and Marketing US Filter Corporation, and most recently Vice President Sales and Marketing & VP Strategic Business Development – Hydranautics, a premier global manufacturer of reverse osmosis and ultra filtration products. Mr. Pelegrin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. Oklejas said the PEI board and staff are excited and pleased to have a person of Larry Pelegrin’s accomplishments and experience join PEI. At PEI, Larry will be responsible for managing PEI's in-house marketing and sales staff and its world wide representative and distributor network.
