Eliminate the energy losses of throttling the high pressure circuit for recovery control of Sea Water RO systems with PEI's AT Turbo Plus System. The Turbo Plus incorporates an auxiliary motor coupled to our Hydraulic Turbocharger. The motor will provide the extra rotational energy to increase Turbo Boost Pressure for seasonal or aging adjustment of feed pressure. For large SWRO systems, the medium or high voltage, multi-thousand kW Variable Frequency Drive which can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and introduces its own inefficiencies of 2-3% is replaced by a small, low voltage, 200 -300 horsepower motor and VFD. Other expensive methods to control pressure such as throttling by a flow control valve or incorporating a Variable Speed full capacity booster pump are made obsolete by the Turbo Plus system.
